Rahmim A, et al. - Researchers have improved the prediction of outcomes in patients with colorectal liver metastases through prognostic models incorporating PET-derived measures, including radiomic characteristics that move beyond conventional standard uptake value (SUV). According to findings, measures derived from PET beyond commonly invoked SUV parameters have a significant potential to improve the prediction of clinical outcomes in patients with liver metastases, in particular when using multivariate models.
