Prognostic implication of NQO1 overexpression in hepatocellular carcinoma

Human Pathology Oct 04, 2017

Lin L, et al. - An inquiry was set up with regard to the role of NQO1 overexpression for the prognostic implication in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It was discovered that NQO1 expression displayed as a significant independent hazard factor for the 5-year survival rate of the study cohort. Hence, it was concluded that NQO1 played a crucial role in the progression of HCC. NQO1 could also be used as an independent biomarker for the prognostic evaluation of HCC.
