Jiao X, et al. - The prognostic factors for recurrence after fertility-preserving surgery (FPS) in patients with borderline ovarian tumors (BOTs) were identified. Specifically, unilateral cystectomy (19.4%) and serous BOTs (19.2%) had significant associations with higher recurrence rates. When compared with laparotomy, no negative impact of laparoscopy on recurrence was shown.
