Prognosis in relation to high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T levels in patients with myocardial infarction and non-obstructive coronary arteries
American Heart Journal Mar 16, 2018
Hjort M, et al. - Researchers herein sought to determine the one-year prognostic value of high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) levels in myocardial infarction (MI) with non-obstructed coronary arteries (MINOCA) vs MI with obstructive coronary artery disease (MI-CAD). Adverse outcome was strongly as well as independently predicted by hs-cTnT levels in MINOCA patients and therefore in these patients, it is essential to consider hs-cTnT levels while assessing risk.
