Zhang FL, et al. – The present prevalence of stroke and its related risk factors were comprehensively contemplated, in northeast China. High prevalence of stroke was reported, especially ischaemic stroke, and related cerebrovascular risk factors among the study cohort. This could be attributed to a higher regional prevalence of hypertension, dyslipidaemia and lack of exercise.
