Prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea among obese toddlers and preschool children

Sleep and Breathing Oct 19, 2017

They also intended to gain further insight into other factors that may be associated with the presence of OSA. Findings recommended OSA evaluation in young obese children. Data also suggested that for facilitating triage for a polysomnography (PSG), especially in resource-limited settings, a history of snoring and daytime sleepiness may serve as useful indicators.
