Prevalence of hearing loss and hearing care use among Asian Americans: A nationally representative sample

Choi JS, et al. - In this study, the authors used the first nationally representative sample of Asian Americans to evaluate the prevalence of hearing loss and factors affecting the use of hearing care by the Asian Americans. The results suggested that the prevalence of hearing loss in Asian Americans was similar to other races/ethnicities, however, hearing aid adoption by Asian Americans tended to be less frequent.
