Vaught AS, Piazza V, Raines AM, et al. - Probable criteria for either bulimia nervosa (BN), binge-eating disorder, or purging disorder were met by 31% of the racially diverse treatment-seeking sample of US veteran men and women assessed in this work.
Men and women had similar overall ED prevalence.
Black veterans had higher estimates of BN.
Veterans with a probable ED had significantly higher mean levels of psychopathology compared with those without.
