Huang D, et al. – The objectives of this study are to ascertain the prevalence of amblyopia and its relationship with refraction in Chinese preschool children. In 36–48 months old children the prevalence of amblyopia is 1.47% in Eastern China. The outcome suggests amblyopia is a major risk factor for refractive error.
