Golub JS, et al. - Researchers coveted an investigation of the prevalence of unilateral hearing loss (UHL) in U.S. adults as well as its treatment with hearing aids. UHL was commonly found among U.S. adults. The findings disclosed a very low hearing aid usage, even with the perceived handicap. A necessity arose for public health education in order to raise the awareness of and auditory rehabilitation for UHL.
