Patel P, et al. - This work was planned to assess the natural history of anal HPV infection among HIV-infected men. Findings revealed a higher prevalence and incidence of HPV among men who have sex with men (MSM) than men who have sex with women (MSW). However, the two groups (MSM and MSW) exhibited similar clearance. Among HIV-infected men, condomless anal sex could be predictive of cancer risk.
