Yan T, et al. - Among patients with stroke, researchers estimated the prevalence and predisposing factors of urinary tract infections (UTIs). Findings revealed quite high prevalence of UTIs among these patients. Female sex, older age, higher modified Rankin Scale score, and postvoid residual volume >100 mL were associated with higher risk of UTIs.
