Silva MT, et al. – In this study, the prevalence of depressive symptoms and associated factors were estimated in the population of the Manaus Metropolitan Region. According to the findings obtained, 7 out of every 100 adults from the Manaus Metropolitan Region had depressive symptoms. This rate was higher in women, individuals living in Manaus, indigenous people, people with hypertension or chronic cardiac disease, and those with a poor health status.
