Magin P, et al. - An exploration was entailed of the prevalence and associations of “non-symptomatic” prostate-specific antigen (PSA)-testing of men aged 40 or older by early-career general practitioners (GP registrars). The “asymptomatic” PSA tests were often advised by the GP registrars. The data indicated that non-compliance with current guidelines for PSA screening could be considerably common and that there was a requirement of targeted education.
