Kauffmann G, et al. - In a modern cohort of intermediate and high-risk prostate cancer patients treated with primary radiotherapy, experts gauged the utility of pre-treatment multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI). Findings suggested a strong association of the pre-treatment mpMRI findings with biochemical outcomes in a modern cohort of intermediate and high-risk patients treated with primary radiotherapy. In men treated with radiation therapy, risk stratification beyond clinical risk factors may be aided with mpMRI.
