Pretransplant vitamin D deficiency is associated with higher relapse rates in patients allografted for myeloid malignancies

Radujkovic A et al. - The prognostic significance of vitamin D deficiency in patients with hematologic malignancies undergoing allogeneic transplantation (alloSCT) has not been established. In the current studym pre-transplant vitamin D deficiency was shown to be associated with a higher risk of relapse in patients allografted for myeloid malignancies.
