Chen KJ, et al. – An investigation was pursued of the presentation of patients diagnosed with necrotizing soft tissue infections (NSTIs) and their in–hospital outcomes. The common comorbidities of NSTIs were diabetes mellitus, immune–compromise, vascular disease, and obesity. Higher survival was reported among patients who received surgical treatment. Such patients required a high degree of suspicion.
