Sites BD, et al. - Physicians designed this study to understand the connection between prescription opioid use and satisfaction with care among adults who had musculoskeletal conditions. Out of the study population, those using prescription opioids were more likely to be highly satisfied with their care. Future work was warranted to better understand this relationship, considering that emerging reimbursement models include patient satisfaction.
