Preoperative prediction of pelvic lymph nodes metastasis in early-stage cervical cancer using radiomics nomogram developed based on T2-weighted MRI and diffusion-weighted imaging
European Journal of Radiology Mar 27, 2019
Wang T, et al. - In 96 patients with early-stage cervical cancer (ECC), researchers analyzed an MRI-based radiomics nomogram for preoperatively predicting of pelvic lymph node (PLN) metastasis. For discrimination and calibration, the performance of the radiomics nomogram for the preoperative prediction of PLN metastasis was evaluated. According to findings, the radiomics nomogram based on joint T2WI and DWI showed an improved predictive capacity in ECC for PLN metastasis. This noninvasive and convenient tool can be used to facilitate preoperative PLN metastasis identification in ECC patients.
