Bezdjian A, et al. – This study outlined the auditory functional improvement and peri–operative outcomes of the Sophono transcutaneous bone conduction device. This device offered promising functional improvement and no intra–operative complications with minor post–operative skin related complications. For the rehabilitation of hearing in children meeting eligibility criteria, the device could be a proposed solution. However, a wearing schedule must be implemented in order to reduce magnet–related skin complications.
