Radin M, Cecchi I, Schreiber K, et al. - This study was carried out to assess the individual clinical response to standard of care (SoC) in women with antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) after stratifying them according to their global antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) score (GAPSS). This study included a total of 143 women (352 pregnancies) with aPL ever pregnant treated with SoC therapy. The results showed that 70.5% (248 out of the 352 pregnancies) was the live birth rate, 45 individuals (31%) experienced at least one event of PM, defined as early or late. When compared with the lower risk group, individuals with medium risk group also had significantly lower live birth rates. The outcomes of this study indicated that GAPSS might be a valuable tool to distinguish individuals with a higher likelihood of response to SoC.
