de Andrade DC, et al. - A randomized, double-blind trial was performed to assess the utility of pregabalin for the prevention of oxaliplatin-induced painful neuropathy in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). Observations revealed that the preemptive use of pregabalin during oxaliplatin (OXA) infusions was safe, but did not reduce the occurrence of chronic pain associated with oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy (OXAIPN).
