Denton CC, et al. - Researchers sought to assess the predictors of hepatotoxicity and pancreatitis in children and adolescents with acute lymphoblastic leukemia treated according to contemporary regimens. The yielded data divulged that obese and/or older children were particularly at risk for hepatotoxicity and pancreatitis. This cohort could benefit from toxicity surveillance and chemoprotective strategies to prevent or mitigate related morbidity.
