Borders JC, et al. - In a large cohort of patients with multiple traumatic injuries, predictors of dysphagia were searched. Injury severity, tracheostomy, traumatic brain injury, and cervical spinal bracing were identified as predictors of dysphagia development in this patient population and were recommended be considered when assessing dysphagia risk in such patients.
