Ha R, et al. - Investigators estimated 42 children in this retrospective study to examine the predictive values of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and other prognostic factors in pediatric idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss (ISSNHL). They found a positive association of early treatment with a steroid and accompanying tinnitus with good hearing recovery.
