Predictive factors for treatment response using dual-energy computed tomography in patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma
European Journal of Radiology Feb 23, 2018
Hong SR, et al. - The quantitative parameters of dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) and the effects of chemotherapy in advanced adenocarcinoma on the basis of the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) guidelines were determined. EGFR mutation and iodine concentration were vital for predicting a treatment response. It was noted that dual-energy CT using a quantitative analytic method based on iodine concentration measurements assists in predicting the effects of chemotherapy in the study cohort.
