Lee SM, et al. - Physicians examined whether the baseline extent and 1-year change in regional disease patterns on CT could predict survival of patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Findings suggested the potential utility of texture-based, automated CT quantification of fibrosis as an independent predictor of survival in IPF patients.
