Nagami Y, et al. – The physicians conducted this study to assess the predictive factors for esophageal stricture formation in patients administered prophylactic triamcinolone injections after endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). In patients administered prophylactic locoregional triamcinolone injections after esophageal ESD, resections involving circumferential mucosal defects of more than five–sixths increased the probability of stricture formation.
