Predicting prognosis of post-chemotherapy patients with resected IIIA non-small cell lung cancer
Journal of Thoracic Disease Aug 05, 2018
Zheng D, et al. - Researchers performed this retrospective analysis to develop nomograms for predicting the recurrence and survival of post-chemotherapy patients with resected IIIA non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). They analyzed their database from October 2007 to May 2013 at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. They selected prognostic factors by performing univariable and multivariable analyses of cox regression. They developed nomograms for recurrence-free survival and overall survival. Based on the findings, they concluded that these nomograms could serve as a tool to make estimation of prognosis easier and could have utility for the selection of optimal decisions in clinical practices.
