Blood Purification Feb 01, 2018
Di Leo L, et al. - The ability of tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-2 (TIMP-2) and insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7 (IGFBP7) in predicting acute kidney injury (AKI) in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients was investigated herein. Researchers noted that (TIMP-2*IGFBP7) at ICU admission demonstrated a good performance in predicting AKI, especially in the first 4 days in ICU.
