Predictability of 99mTc-galactosyl human serum albumin scintigraphy for posthepatectomy liver failure
American Journal of Roentgenology Oct 18, 2017
Kato A, et al. - This study is performed to evaluate the potential diagnostic ability of 99mTc-galactosyl human serum albumin (GSA) scintigraphy to predict post-hepatectomy liver failure (PHLF) as characterized by the International Study Group of Liver Surgery (ISGLS). The outcome of this study uncovered that the technetium-99mÂlabeled GSA scintigraphy is valuable for predicting PHLF, especially to applying an accurate resection line on GSA-SPECT images.
