Hamada T, et al. - During this trial, experts discerned the tie-up between statins with the outcomes of patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Prior to the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, regular statin use exhibited a correlation with modestly prolonged survival compared to non-regular use. A strong connection was brought to light between regular statin use within the 2 years prior to the cancer diagnosis with longer survival.
