Schnoor J, et al. - Children with obstructive sleep apnea are at high risk for perioperative airway obstruction. Herein, a clinically practicable test to detect obstructive sleep apnea in childhood was investigated by prospectively comparing four parental questionnaires. Researchers condensed the eight-item questionnaire to three core issues. They noted that the use of three core-questions could facilitate the detection of pediatric obstructive sleep apnea within the scope of the anesthesia survey.
