Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Aug 18, 2017

Kang CM, et al. – This study was performed with the aim to analyze the effectiveness of postoperative intercostal nerve block (ICNB) in reducing postoperative pain after breast augmentation with implant. ICNB just before awaking from general anesthesia resulted in a statistically significant reduction in VAS score, and this meant effective reduction in postoperative pain and suggested time to discharge could be shortened.
