Postoperative outcome of three different procedures for childhood glaucoma

Huang H., et al. - In this retrospective study, investigators analyzed the eyes of different subjects to examine the long-term postoperative consequence of 3 surgical procedures for childhood glaucoma ie, goniotomy, trabeculotomy, and filtering surgery by applying a Kaplan–Meier analysis with supplementary metrics included IOP, number of additional operations, eye drop scores, and visual acuity. They observed the 10- and 20-year probability of success was 65.2%, 42.2%, and 91.7% for the goniotomy, trabeculotomy, and filtering surgery groups, respectively.
