Siddiqui A, et al. – Safety, as well as efficacy of three most common epidural regimens, was compared in pediatric patients undergoing the Nuss procedure. Overall, postoperative analgesia provided by three epidural regimens did not differ significantly. However, a hydromorphoneÂropivacaine epidural regimen seemed to provide more favorable outcomes than a fentanylÂbupivacaine regimen or a hydromorphoneÂbupivacaine regimen for managing day–1 postoperative pain and minimizing nausea/vomiting.
