Postoperative delirium in elderly patients undergoing major spinal surgery: Role of cerebral oximetry

Soh S, et al. - This study explored the link between perioperative regional cerebral oxygen saturation (rSO2) variations and delirium in elderly patients post- spinal surgery. In this patient population, no association was reported, between postoperative delirium and degree and duration of decrease of the perioperative rSO2 measurements.
