Sealy-Jefferson S, et al. - This study was conducted to determine if a history of stroke is correlated with subsequent cancer risk and tumor site as a function of race/ethnicity among postmenopausal women. A lower risk of cancer was shown among postmenopausal women with a history of stroke who survive long enough to develop cancer than women without such a history.
