Molina JM, et al. - This study was performed to assess if post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) with doxycycline could reduce the incidence of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in men who have sex with men. Outcomes showed a reduction in the occurrence of a first episode of bacterial STI with doxycycline PEP use in high-risk men who have sex with men.
