Positive correlation between regional cerebral oxygen saturation and mixed venous oxygen saturation during off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery
Respiratory Care Jul 29, 2018
Guan Z, et al. - Researchers investigated if a positive correlation exists between regional cerebral oxygenation (rScO2) and mixed venous oxygen saturation (SvO2). They examined a total of 56 consecutively enrolled subjects undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting surgery. In these subjects, they calculated the correlation between rScO2 and SvO2 during surgery. Findings demonstrated that rScO2 and SvO2 correlated positively during off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting surgery. Also, they observed a positive correlation in the variation trend between rScO2 and SvO2.
