Polymorphisms of nucleotide factor of activated T cells cytoplasmic 2 and 4 and the risk of acute rejection following kidney transplantation

Wang Z, et al. - The purpose of this study was to discern the correlation between nuclear factors of activated T cells (NFATs) with acute rejection (AR), following kidney transplantation. It was reported that there existed a prominent link between the rs2426295 variant of the NFATC2 gene with the occurrence of AR following kidney transplantation. Patients with AA genotypes in rs2426295 exhibited the tendency to suffer from AR pathogenesis.
