Ye Y, et al. - The efficacy of intra-articular injection of hyaluronic acid (HA) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) was compared for treating hip osteoarthritis (OA). Researchers noted a significant reduction of VAS at 2 months in association with intra-articular injection of PRP. Comparable functional recovery was evident with the two regimens. No significant difference regarding the WOMAC and HHS at a 12-month follow up was noted.
