Platelet rich fibrin (PRF) in regeneration of intrabony defects- A randomized controlled trial

Journal of Periodontology Oct 22, 2017

Kumar G, et al. - A randomized controlled trial is done to evaluate the adjunctive utilization of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) in the regenerative management of intrabony defects in comparison with open flap debridement. In this study, PRF also demonstrated significant soft tissue healing and reduction in probing depth. The adjunctive utilization of PRF to conventional open flap debridement may be potentially utilized in the treatment of intrabony defects.
