Virchows Archiv Oct 05, 2017

Severe preeclampsia could present as a placental disease and mild preeclampsia more of a maternal disease, based on placental pathology. Nonetheless, the substantial overlap among the groups did not make the variation absolute. The conditions could be regarded as Âoccult preeclampsia", possibly indicated via the occurrence of decidual arteriolopathy in gestational hypertension and chronic hypertension.
