Parent AA, et al. - Exercise can improve the quality of life for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients. In this study, researchers focused on the feasibility of using exercise games (Shape-Up,Ubisoft,Mtl) safely and easily with COPD patients. They found that the participants experienced pleasure. In addition to this, the safety, and the ability to use these games with assistance led to the interpretation that the games could be a good tool in order for COPD patients to exercise at home.
