Drucker NA, et al. - Researchers here performed exploration for objective findings that may aid in determining children requiring operative abdominal exploration after motor vehicle collision (MVC). Findings confirmed the relationship between specific physical examination findings and the need for abdominal exploration after MVC in childre. Physical examination findings, such as the seat belt sign, abdominal bruising, abdominal wound, and abdominal tenderness, were significantly associated with need for abdominal surgery.
