Physical activity in patients with systemic sclerosis

Liem SIE, et al. - Experts aimed to draw a comparison between the self-reported levels of physical activity (PA) of systemic sclerosis (SSc) patients and the general population. They also assessed the factors related to PA levels and needs and preferences regarding PA in SSc patients. Compared to the general population, the total minutes of PA per week are notably lower in SSc patients. PA seemed to be interfered by the male gender, functional ability as reflected by scleroderma health assessment questionnaire (SHAQ) and lack of energy.
