Matos M, et al. - The topic examined herein was the effects of exercise and physical activity interventions on diabetic foot outcomes. With regard to the improvement of diabetic foot related outcomes, physical activity and exercise were found to be an effective non-pharmacological intervention. Data demonstrated that combined multi-disciplinary treatments exhibited greater effectiveness for the prevention of foot complications in patients with diabetes.
