Lee MJ, et al. - With an intent to gain a better understanding regarding the role of the gut microbiome in atopic dermatitis, an analysis of the infant gut microbiome was performed, according to feeding types, the findings of which revealed that alterations in the gut microbiome may be associated with atopic dermatitis due to different bacterial genes that can modulate host immune cell function.
