Paiva RR, et al. - Personality changes after 1 year of gamma ventral capsulotomy (GVC) in intractable obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) patients were examined in this study. Following GVC, the pattern of changes in personality traits was generally towards that observed in the nonclinical population. It did not raise safety concerns.
